Private Group Lessons: Perfect for players who have never played before. You host the location and we do the rest!

Mahjong 101: $65 per person | Minimum 4 people -- Maximum 12 players | If 8 people register, the host's registration is free. Option to set up 2 classes (Mahjong 101 + 102) at discounted rate.

In this 2-2.5-hour beginner class, you’ll learn all the essentials of American Mahjong — including how to recognize tile names, mahj vocabulary, the National Mahjong League (NMJL) card & how to DEAL. No prior experience is needed — just bring your fun vibe and get ready to rack & roll! ✨

This is the ideal girls’ night for friends who want to laugh, learn, and have a blast — warning: it’s likely to turn into a girls’ night obsession! 💖

Includes:

• 2-2.5 hours of guided instruction

• Pre-session emails with key concepts and visuals to help you feel confident walking into your lesson!

•  Tips/Tricks to make the game easier.

• All tables, tiles, teaching, cheat sheets — and the fun! And if you supply the tables, we supply some prizes! 

• We supply National Mahjong League Cards for the lesson.
• Post-session email recapping key concepts to help everything stick!

Host/Hostess provides:

• Location: Live Classes can be hosted in your home or at any venue where you have permission.

Most people need at least two lessons before they feel comfortable playing on their own. We also recommend adding Mahjong 102 within 1–2 weeks of completing Mahjong 101. While not required, it is highly recommended to build confidence and reinforce the fundamentals. If you want to register for these 2 classes at one time, let us know.

Virtual Mahjong 101

Virtual Mahjong lessons include everything a live lesson offers; however, you will need to have a few required items ready before our session.

Private Group Virtual Lessons: perfect for players who have never played before.

Rate: $60 per person
Minimum 4 people | Maximum 8 players

What’s Included:

What You’ll Need:
• An American Mahjong set of tiles (I’m happy to recommend a great starter set). You need 1 set per 4 people.
• Mahjong racks (optional, but highly recommended). You will need these when you play actual games.
• National Mahjong League (NMJL) Card for each person (current year) — I can recommend where to purchase
• A laptop to view the session for your group
• Internet access — your connection and bandwidth will impact the overall video quality
• Optional: the ability to mirror to a TV for easier viewing (bigger screen = better experience)

After You Learned The Basics in Mahjong 101!

Mahjong 102: $65 per person | Minimum 4 people -- Maximum 12 players | If 8 people register, the host's registration is free. Option to set up 2 classes (Mahjong 101 + 102) at discounted rate.

In this 2 hour class, you’ll review the essentials of American Mahjong from Mahjong 101 — including how to deal, perform the Charleston, recognize tile names, and understand the National Mahjong League (NMJL) card. 

Includes:

• 2 hours of guided instruction

• More STRATEGY for game play

• All tables, tiles, teaching, cheat sheets — and the fun! And if you supply the tables, we supply some prizes! 

• We supply National Mahjong League Cards for the lesson.
